The librarian who made me debug with paper and pencil
Back in 2017 I told a reference librarian at my local branch that I was learning Python and she handed me a worksheet with 10 hand-written loops and said 'trace these before you touch a keyboard.' Took me 3 tries to get one right, but now I sketch out logic on paper before I open VS Code. Does anyone else still trace code by hand, or am I just dating myself?

Still sketch flowcharts on scrap paper every time, it just makes the tricky stuff click faster for me.
