Am I the only one who finally got a good shot from my new grinder?
I was at the cafe on Maple Street yesterday morning and decided to try dialing in my new hand grinder there. After three attempts, I pulled a shot that actually had thick crema and tasted sweet, not bitter. The barista even nodded and said 'nice work' when she saw it. Has anyone else had a moment where a new piece of gear just clicked for them?

Wait you're telling me I've been calling it the wrong thing this whole time. That's the good part on top of the espresso. My whole coffee life is a lie.

How many years did you call it foam? I did the exact same thing for ages. Felt like a real lightbulb moment when someone corrected me. That crema really is the best part though, makes the whole drink.
