Dropped $320 on a hand grinder and my $12 drip maker has been sitting in the cabinet for 4 months
I finally got tired of my blade grinder making muddy coffee so I put $320 down on a hand grinder back in March. First couple weeks my arm was sore and I was ready to call it a waste, but now the same beans I used to write off taste completely different. My pour overs are way more even and I can actually pick out flavors instead of just getting bitter. The cheap drip maker only comes out now when my sister visits and doesn't want to wait on me. Anyone here made the jump to hand grinding and noticed the same thing, or did you go electric instead?
