Got stuck between pour over and French press, no regret after 3 weeks

I picked a French press from a local shop in Austin after years of pour over gear. The cheap one I had kept dripping too slow and making bitter cups. Press is messier to clean but the flavor is way rounder, and my morning routine got 5 minutes shorter. Anyone else switch methods after sticking with one for so long?
