My French press broke and I went back to a Mr. Coffee drip machine for a month
The difference was night and day - the drip coffee tasted flat and weak no matter how much I used. Has anyone else noticed a huge gap in quality when switching brewing methods, or is my palate just ruined now?

Bought a used stick shift truck a few years back just cause it was cheap and i needed a work beater. First week I stalled out at a busy intersection and some guy behind me laid on his horn so hard I thought he was gonna pop a blood vessel. Now I kinda love it though. Makes me feel like I'm actually driving the thing instead of just pointing it where I wanna go. Still hate hills though, my left knee starts cramping up every time.

My buddy stalled his old Toyota on a steep hill in San Francisco once and a bicyclist actually got off his bike to yell instructions through the passenger window. He still drives stick twenty years later though, calls it "the workout nobody asked for.
