That barista who refused to serve me decaf after 5pm
I walked into a shop in Austin at 6:30 PM and asked for a decaf latte. The barista looked me dead in the eye and said 'no, you need the real thing.' She made me a full-caff instead. Has anyone else had a barista decide what's best for you?

That's a hard disagree from me. A customer knows their own body and caffeine tolerance better than a barista does. Decaf exists for a reason, and it's not up to someone else to override your choice just because of the time on the clock.

Honestly I'm with the barista on this one. If you're in a coffee shop at 6:30 PM you probably need the caffeine more than you think.
