Threw $120 at a high-end hand grinder and it saved my mornings... or did it? Let's argue.

I jumped on the bandwagon and bought a Comandante C40 for $120 last month. It grinds super even and my pour-overs taste way better now. But honestly, it takes me 2 minutes of cranking every morning and I'm starting to hate it. My cheap $30 blade grinder was faster, even if the coffee was more bitter. So is it worth the extra cost and effort for that cleaner flavor? Or am I just being lazy and missing the point of good coffee? What do you all think, have you gone back to a simpler setup?

Had a buddy who dropped big money on a fancy hand grinder and after three weeks he was back to using his old electric blade grinder because he just couldn't deal with the arm workout before his first sip. He said the better coffee wasn't worth feeling like he was churning butter every morning.

Honestly that "churning butter every morning" line hits too close to home for a lot of stuff we overcomplicate.
