Two weeks of bad pour overs fixed by one cheap scale

My morning coffee tasted like dirty water for a solid 14 days, turns out my grinder was drifting 9 grams off. Picked up a $15 scale at a kitchen supply shop in Denver, what do you use to keep your dose honest?

A $15 scale saved my mornings too, such a game changer.

Honestly I gotta push back on this one @janah83. Scales are a trap if you ask me. You start weighing everything and suddenly you are obsessing over numbers that dont even mean that much. A cup of flour can vary by like 20 grams depending on humidity and how you scoop it, so the "accuracy" is fake anyway. Plus now I gotta clean the thing and store it and replace batteries, its just another gadget cluttering the counter. My grandma baked perfect bread for 50 years using just her hands and a coffee mug, never owned a scale in her life. Some of us like the messy, instinctual way of cooking, not turning breakfast into a science lab experiment.
