I spent $400 on a 'smart' compost bin that just made a mess
I bought this fancy indoor composter last year because I wanted to cut down on food waste. It promised to turn scraps into soil in two weeks with no smell. After six months, it just made a wet, sticky mess and never worked right. I ended up throwing the whole unit out. Has anyone found a simple, reliable way to compost in an apartment?
