My pest control tech told me a mouse fact that messed with my head
Always believed glue traps were the most humane option. Last week in a Denver attic, my guy showed me a study from Cornell saying they cause prolonged suffering. Now I'm stuck between what I thought was right and what actually is. Anyone in the industry dealt with this shift?

Seriously? You're letting one study mess you up? Glue traps work. They stop the problem fast. Those mice ruin homes and spread disease. The goal is to get rid of them, not worry about their comfort. Sometimes the quick fix is the right one, even if it's not pretty.

Ever seen a mouse chew its own leg off?

Honestly, calling it a "quick fix" ignores that it's a slow death. Tbh, stopping the problem doesn't have to mean choosing the most cruel way.

Tried glue traps once and felt awful about it, totally get what @the_wesley is saying. I switched to snap traps and they solved the problem just as fast without the cruelty. It's possible to be effective and not cause extra suffering.
