The 20-minute rule that killed my 3-hour Sunday meal prep

I used to swear by spending every Sunday cooking five different dishes for the week. It felt productive, like I was adulting hard. Then my sister in Cleveland told me she just cooks one big pot of stew and eats it for three days, no shame. I laughed at her, called it boring. Last month I tried it with a simple chili, 20 minutes of prep, and I stopped wasting half my weekend. The weird part is I actually look forward to dinner now instead of dreading reheated roasted veggies. I never thought I'd trade variety for sanity, but here I am. Has anyone else ditched a big routine for something way simpler and felt guilty about liking it?

Cleveland's about a five-hour drive from me, but that's still not the same as your sister's three-day stew hack. You're not trading variety for sanity, you're trading burnout for a system that actually works.
