Tuesday I had a perfect day where everything went right and it felt weird
Last Tuesday I woke up with a flat tire, found a shop that fixed it for free since it was just a valve stem, then my boss gave me a surprise $100 bonus for a project I turned in three months ago... has anyone else had a day where good luck kept piling on and it actually made you uneasy?

Kind of disagree with the guilt thing. It wasn't guilt for me, it was just pure confusion. Like when you're walking down stairs and you think there's one more step but there isn't, your whole body braces for something that never comes. Good luck piling up like that made me feel like I was in the wrong timeline or something (you know, like I accidentally slipped into a dimension where things work out for me). The unease wasn't about feeling like I didn't deserve it, it was more like my brain short-circuited because it didn't have a system for processing good stuff in a row. Survival mode definitely plays a part, but I think the bigger problem is that we're so used to chaos that peace feels threatening on a gut level.

Funny how we're all trained to brace for the crash but nobody talks about the weird guilt part. Like your brain goes "wait, I don't deserve this much good luck in one day" and starts feeling bad for people who might be having a terrible day at the same time. That uneasiness might actually be a sign that your brain is too used to running on survival mode. Maybe the real problem is we don't practice accepting good things without a catch. It's almost like we need a mental reset button for when life actually works out.

Gotta say the uneasiness hits different when you're waiting for the other shoe to drop. Like your brain just isn't wired for things going smoothly so you start looking for where it's gonna go wrong.
