Unpopular opinion: Holding out for a better deal backfired on me big time

I was sure waiting would pay off, but the item sold out instead. In my experience, that kind of patience just leads to regret sometimes.

Yeah, that bit about patience leading to regret is too real. My friend did this with concert tickets for a band she loved. She kept refreshing for hours, waiting for the prices to maybe drop on a resale site. By the time she decided to just buy them, the last pair had literally just sold. She had to watch shaky phone videos from the show instead.

Ever think the timing just laughs at you? I always believed good things came to people who waited, but that changed after I missed out on something I really wanted. Now I see some chances you just have to grab.
