Vent: I thought I was a careful shopper until I saw my own data
I read a report from my bank's app last month that said I spent $412 on coffee and snacks in a single quarter. I always told myself those small buys didn't count, you know? Seeing the real number from my own account made me feel kind of silly for arguing with my partner about our budget. Has anyone else had a number from their own life totally surprise them like that?

Oh man, that report is a gut punch every time. My version of this was my streaming services. I finally added them all up last year and it was over eighty bucks a month for stuff I barely watched. I felt like a total clown paying for three different services just to rewatch The Office.

Eighty bucks a month is wild... I'd have to cancel everything for a year just to feel okay again.

Honestly that report would give me a heart attack. Tbh I did the same thing with food delivery apps last year and the total made me feel sick. Ngl I swore off them for a month after I saw I'd spent over six hundred bucks in three months. It's crazy how those little "treat yourself" charges add up without you even noticing.
