Guy at my local shop spent 20 minutes explaining why Superman's cape physics are wrong
Last Wednesday at Midtown Comics he pulled out a calculator and showed me the drag coefficient math. I just wanted to buy issue #1 of the new run, did anyone else get cornered by a cape theorist before?

Just mentioned I was in a hurry and said "hey man that's cool but I gotta run" while walking toward the register. Worked like a charm.

The drag coefficient math actually assumes a stiff cape but Superman's cape is fabric.
