My comic book count hit 1,000 and it was completely by accident

I was reorganizing my long boxes last Tuesday to make room for the new Secret Wars run and decided to actually count everything for once. 1,048 issues total, which blew my mind because I always figured I had maybe 700 or so. The wild part is that 212 of them are just X-Men titles from the 90s, I swear I bought every single variant without noticing. It made me wonder if anyone else has a huge number of comics they never realized they owned, or am I the only one with a hoarding blind spot?
