Switched from reading single issues to waiting for the trade paperback of 'Immortal Hulk'
Honestly, I used to grab every new issue from my local shop, Comic Empire, on Wednesday. Tbh, waiting a month between chapters of a story like that just killed the flow for me. Ngl, getting the whole 10-issue arc in one book for about $25 let me actually enjoy the pacing and art without forgetting key details. Anyone else find they connect with a story better when they can read it all at once?

Oh man, I totally get that. I read an interview with a writer (maybe Al Ewing himself?) who said some stories are just built for the binge, you know? He talked about planting little clues in issue #2 that don't pay off until #8, and how easy it is to miss that stuff with a month gap. Reading it all together must make those connections way more satisfying.

Feel that so hard. I tried reading that one X-Men run month to month and got totally lost. Went back and read the whole trade paperback last summer and it was like a different book. All those small character moments in the early chapters actually mattered later. The monthly wait just kills the flow for me on those dense plots.

My buddy had that exact thing happen with Immortal Hulk.
