The back issue bin in Des Moines that changed how I hunt deals

Used to flip through every longbox at conventions for 3 hours, but last month an old shop owner in Des Moines showed me he sorts by character first, not title. Now I just ask for the character I'm chasing and save so much time, has anyone else found a shop that organizes weird like that?
