Diving the old outflow pipe after 10 years off that job

Went back to a cooling water intake job I used to run in Norfolk, VA, and the silt line had shifted so much the diffuser was buried 4 feet deep. Took me two dives to figure out why the jetting kept blowing back in my face, felt like a rookie again. Anyone else go back to an old site and find the bottom completely redrawn on em?

That silt line shift is brutal, man? My buddy went back to a harbor cleanup in Baltimore after five years and the whole channel had swung about 30 yards, his old mooring blocks were sitting in dry mud. He spent half a day pulling up a cable that used to run under the dock, only to find it led to a concrete slab with a new pipe going the other way.

Silt does what silt wants, but your buddy probably just forgot where he parked, @daniel140.
