My $600 drysuit repair kit that didnt work
I bought a Rinstone drysuit repair kit for $42 after I tore my sleeve on a rusty pipe in Port Huron last month. The glue didnt bond even after 24 hours and the patch peeled off during my next dive. Anyone else have better luck with a different brand or am I just doing something wrong?

$42 and 24 hours later I still had a floppy sleeve like me.

Funny you say that @paul_taylor21, a buddy of mine tried a similar fix on his old Civic hatchback. Spent $35 on some universal sleeve, fought with it for a whole Saturday, and ended up with the same floppy result. He finally just bit the bullet and paid a shop $100 to do it right.
