Bench tech in Reno swapped 40 power supplies before he checked the outlet
He handed me a box of 12 "dead" PSUs from a dentist's office on S Virginia St and every single one tested fine on my bench, turns out the wall circuit was only pushing 95 volts under load. How many of you test at the outlet before you start ripping parts?

Reminds me of a guy I worked with who swore his house had bad wiring because his microwave kept dying, turned out his kid was unplugging it to charge a tablet. Forty power supplies is a lot of wasted trips though, that tech probably still has nightmares about molex connectors.
