Ditched teamviewer for meshcentral after a nightmare remote session

I had a client with a server in a closet in Houston and Teamviewer kept flagging me as commercial use even though it was just one machine. Lost like 20 minutes of troubleshooting time while I fought with the popup. Switched to Meshcentral last month and it's self hosted, no nag screens, and I can access all my clients from one dashboard. Anyone else move away from the big name remote tools?

Ngl, that detail you dropped caught me completely off guard. Didn't realize those popups could actually lock up your whole browser like that with no way out except force quitting. Honestly, that's wild to me. I've seen some annoying ones but nothing that aggressive. Makes me wonder what kind of site even allows scripts that pushy.
