TIL I fixed my 1000th computer last week and it hit different

I was just trying to clean out a dusty old Dell from 2012 when my repair log hit 1000 exactly. Started counting back in 2019 when I went solo. Never thought I'd see that number. Most of them were just virus cleanups or SSD swaps but a few were real nightmares like that water damaged laptop from a guy's fish tank explosion. The 1000th one was actually a simple power supply swap for a lady who cried because she thought she lost all her wedding photos. Made me realize how many people's lives I've touched with something as boring as a screwdriver. Anyone else track their numbers or am I just weird like that?

Ha, that fish tank story reminded me of the time I dropped my phone in a bowl of soup and somehow it still works.

Wait, did your phone fall straight into the soup or just bounce off the bowl? That's wild it still works. My buddy Kevin once dropped his phone in a bucket of driveway sealant, like the black sticky tar stuff, and it was a total goner. He fished it out but the buttons were all gunked up and it never turned on again.
