Blew a $60 trowel on a slab in Phoenix last Tuesday...

Had a fresh pour going and my margin trowel slipped right into the wet mix. Watched it sink like it was quicksand. Has anyone else had a tool just disappear on a job like that?

Yeah @emery36 I get that, I'd just fill the hole with spackle and paint over it until I forgot about the trowel entirely.

Nah I'd probably snap and tape the old one back together just out of spite. $60 is wild for a hunk of metal but here we are. At that point you gotta just commit to the spot and call it decor.
