Found a way to keep broom finish lines straight without a string line every time
Been doing driveways around Columbus for about 4 years now. Always fought with the broom finish going crooked, especially on longer pours. Tried using a 2x4 as a guide but it kept moving. Last week I tried clamping a straight edge to my knee boards and running the broom along that. Worked way better than I expected. Lines came out dead straight the whole 30 foot run. Anybody else got a trick for this or am I overthinking it?
