Picked a hand float over a power trowel for a small driveway job
Had to decide between finishing a 20x30 residential driveway by hand or renting a power trowel for 85 bucks. Went with the hand float and it came out smoother than I expected, no burn marks. Anyone else stick with hand tools for small jobs to save the hassle?

Holy crap $85 to rent a power trowel? That's insane, I can rent one for like 40 bucks tops around here. Where are you getting gouged that bad?
