Pro tip: never trust a brand new finisher on a cold morning pour
Was on a job in downtown Portland last January and some kid showed up with no gloves and a brand new bull float. He tried to rush the finish before the frost had lifted and we had to tear out 400 square feet the next day. What's your rule for working with new guys on cold weather jobs?

Trusting anything brand new too fast usually ends poorly.

Gotta push back on that, @thomas_torres probably learned something too.

...and that's why I always make the new guys do the first mix on a Friday afternoon so they learn the hard way.
