PSA: our crew's finish quality jumped after we switched from brooms to a walk-behind trowel on the west lot
Two projects ago we were pulling brooms across every slab because that was how the old foreman ran it, and we got callbacks on 4 out of 9 pours for surface scaling. Switched to a walk-behind trowel on the 12,000 sq ft lot in Fort Worth and we've had zero callbacks in five weeks, but some of the older guys swear the broom gives better grip in rain. Which one are you all running on exterior flatwork?
