Rained 20 minutes after I finished a driveway in Nashville...

Poured a 30x40 driveway last Tuesday near the old fairgrounds, got the final broom finish down around 3pm. By 3:20 the sky opened up and dumped on it before I could get the tarps on. We lost the surface entirely - had to demo 6 yards and redo it Friday. Anyone else ever deal with sudden rain like that and come up with a faster tarp system?

Nah, cheap tarps rip too easy and cost you more time in the long run.

Man that's brutal. Lost 6 yards because of a 20 minute window. I started keeping a bundle of cheap blue tarps in the truck bed ready to go. Not pretty but it beats ripping out fresh concrete.
