The parking lot we did 5 years ago is cracking way faster than the one from 10 years ago

Same mix specs, same crew, but the newer lot has spider cracks all over while the older one still looks solid. Did something change in the aggregate supply around here or are we rushing the cure time too much these days?

Heard a guy say they're pushing additives harder now that mess with the chemistry.

yeah @knight.felix i just switched to a basic starter pack and kept my water temp steady, that fixed a lot of the weird reactions i was getting. nothing fancy just keeping it simple worked way better than all the extra stuff.

pushing additives harder now" - nah i'd push back on that. a lot of those people just don't know how to dose them right. i've been running a full additive line for years and my water stays stable af. it's not the additives, it's user error.
