Can we talk about the JFK files they just dropped last week?
I spent last Tuesday night going through the new release from the National Archives, and there was a memo about Oswald's Mexico trip that contradicts the Warren Report timeline. The document shows he visited the Soviet embassy twice, not once like they always said. Anyone else see something in those files that doesn't add up?

The Mexico trip memo is interesting but everyone focuses on that and misses the bigger issue. Look at the medical examiner's notes from Bethesda that got declassified alongside it. The autopsy photos and the written report don't match up on where the back wound was located. One says three inches lower than the other. That's not a typo or a filing error. That's two different stories about the same bullet hole. The Warren Commission worked off the higher position for their single bullet theory. If those notes are right about the lower entry point then the whole thing falls apart because the trajectory doesn't work. Nobody talks about this because the Mexico stuff is more dramatic but the real contradiction is sitting right there in the medical records.

I read something a while back about a guy named David Lifton who wrote a whole book on those autopsy discrepancies and he basically said the photos had to be faked because the wound positions kept shifting depending on who was telling the story. It's wild to think about how something so basic like where a hole is on a body could get bungled that badly, @sage308. You ever come across any of the original witness testimony from the doctors who were actually in that room?

The Bethesda stuff absolutely keeps me up at night lmao. I spent like three hours last week cross referencing the original autopsy face sheet with the supplemental report and the wound location is off by almost four inches in some descriptions, not just three like you said. One of the doctors, Dr. Boswell, even put a little diagram in the margins showing the entry wound below the shoulder blade and that directly conflicts with the single bullet theory everyone swears by. I found a declassified navy memo from 1964 where some guy named Finck was already writing about the discrepancies and asking for clarification but it just got buried. The fact that nobody in the mainstream wants to touch this while they argue about which grassy knoll window is wild to me.
