Cousin says our baby monitor is part of a data mining scheme

He showed up for a visit and unplugged it, saying it sends info to big tech. Now my wife is mad and he won't drop it. Ever have family push conspiracies into your home life?

Ugh, does he think your fridge is spying too? My aunt tried to get us to ditch our phones last year, said the government was tracking us through the cameras. It was a whole thing.

Yeah family can get so intense about that stuff. My uncle still wraps his phone in foil sometimes, it's a whole mood. I just let them have their theories.

Oh man, my family would totally get along with @joel_clark37's aunt. I'm the low-key paranoid one they all make fun of. I put a piece of tape over my laptop camera, and I get nervous when my phone listens a little too well to my conversations. They call me their little conspiracy theorist as a joke, but honestly, they might have a point sometimes.
