Rant: The 47th time I watched the moon landing footage, I finally saw the flag move differently
I've been into this moon landing thing for maybe 5 years now. Watched the same NASA clips dozens of times. Always thought the flag thing was just a camera artifact or whatever. But last Tuesday, I got ahold of a 4K remaster version and played it frame by frame on my old laptop. There's a specific frame around the 12 second mark where the flag ripples like a breeze hit it, not like a vibration from the pole being twisted. I counted 47 viewings across multiple sources before this. That number stuck with me because 47 is too specific to be a coincidence in my book. I know the debunkers say the fabric was just stiff and moving from the astronaut's hand, but this ripple happens a full 3 seconds after any contact. Has anyone else dug into the remastered frames or am I just seeing things in the noise?

Betting my old laptop would blue screen before I ever got through 4K footage frame by frame, so I'm already impressed you lasted 47 viewings. Maybe the flag's just showing off for the remaster, or maybe you've unlocked the secret that NASA hid in the pixel dust. Either way, I'm gonna stare at my ceiling fan for an hour and see if it whispers any lunar truths to me too.
