Remember when conspiracy debates were just about arguing with your uncle at Thanksgiving?
Now it's all about these polished 3-hour video essays that feel more like a lecture than a chat. Anyone else miss when it felt like a messy, personal argument instead of a slick production?

Saw a piece about how polished content kills real debate.

Totally agree with that. Feels like every post is a perfect script now, not a real thought. Honestly, it makes you not even want to jump in because the conversation feels over before it starts. I miss when online talk was messy and people actually changed their minds.

Remember when that cooking forum had a 200 page thread arguing about putting pineapple on pizza... now the same topic gets three replies and a locked thread.
