Serious question: who else hit 40 pounds lost and completely changed their conspiracy views?

So I lost 40 pounds over 6 months, and I gotta say it messed with my head in ways I didn't expect. I used to buy into the whole chemtrail thing hardcore, like I'd check the sky every morning and post on here about it. But when I started running outdoors and actually paying attention to the air and my own breathing, I noticed that the trails from planes just dissipated like normal clouds. My buddy who's a meteorologist at the local station in Portland told me those lines are just condensation from engines at high altitude, and he showed me the science on his computer. I still think some gov stuff is shady, but the chemtrail thing? I'm out. Has anyone else had a personal milestone like weight loss or a health scare change what they believe in here?

Yeah I used to be deep into the antivax stuff but then I got healthier and started trusting actual doctors more lol.

My cousin tried that whole antivax path and ended up in the hospital with shingles at 35. That was a REAL wakeup call for our whole family.

Yeah that's rough with your cousin, shingles at 35 is no joke. It's wild how getting healthier makes you step back and realize some stuff you were sure about just doesn't hold up. Glad you're both in a better place now.
