That conspiracy theory debate where I had to choose between the lizard people or the flat earth crowd
At a truck stop diner in Nebraska last week, two drivers got into it over which was more believable. I picked the lizard people theory just to end the argument, and ended up stuck listening to a guy explain how Ted Cruz is actually a reptilian for 45 minutes. Has anyone else ever made a bad choice just to duck out of a debate?

35 minutes I lost to a guy at a bar in Des Moines who swore the earth is a giant snow globe and we're all just living inside a science experiment. I only nodded along because we were waiting on the same pizza and I didn't want to move my stuff from the table. By the time my order came up he was drawing diagrams on napkins about how the ice wall works. I just grabbed my box and left without saying a word. Honestly picking lizard people was probably the smart move because at least that guy stopped talking when his coffee showed up.

Wait, he drew diagrams on napkins? That's crazy.

35 minute diagram sessions are a steal compared to napkin art, @kimmurphy.
