That Tuesday when every camera in the city saw the same plane, including mine

Back in 2014 I worked a shift near O'Hare and watched a plane hover in place for almost 20 minutes, no joke. My phone's compass went haywire too, spinning like a drunk top, and three other guys on the loading dock saw the same thing. We pulled up FlightRadar and the flight path showed a perfect zigzag that matched what we saw, but the FAA said it was just a weather balloon. Now 11 years later I still check flight tracking apps on clear days, and I've never seen anything like that again. Anyone else have a specific sighting that made you question everything, or is it just me holding onto one weird afternoon?
