Visited Sedona and the energy vortex talk got weird real fast

I drove out to that airport mesa overlook last Saturday and heard two guides arguing whether the vortex is magnetic or purely psychological. Tourists were filming rocks and I'm honestly torn, does the place actually change anything or is it just a $15 parking lot story? Anyone else feel a difference there or is it all hype?

YES, thank you for saying this, @mark_carr7 totally nailed it. I had the same experience, I went expecting nonsense and left feeling weirdly reset, not because of magic rocks but because I finally sat down and breathed.

Honestly, I felt the same way when I went. I sat on a rock near the chapel for about twenty minutes and just shut my eyes. Maybe it was the quiet or the red dirt smell, but my head cleared up in a way it hadn't in weeks. I don't buy the magnetic stuff, but I think the place forces you to slow down, which is rare these days. If that's a psychological trick, fine by me, it still worked. The parking lot argument is just noise, the real change happens if you actually sit still.
