Hot take: I thought those expensive webinar platforms were a total scam until I saw the analytics from one of my paid courses

After 6 months of tracking my own numbers across three different tools, I found the $99 per month option gave me dropout rates that were 40 percent lower than the free plugin I was using, so has anyone else seen a real difference with paid tools or is it just me?

40 percent lower dropout rates" sounds like marketing math to me.

Wait, did you actually A/B test both?

Doubt that 40% number came from a controlled test or just a gut feeling. Did you run the same course with the same audience on both tools at the same time, or are you comparing two totally different groups of people? Because if you switched students midstream or changed your marketing, that dropout drop could be from anything. I've seen paid tools look better just because the free ones make it too easy to click away, but the content quality and delivery matter way more. What was the actual difference in how you delivered the course between the two platforms?
