Rant: Does consistency really matter more than quality for small channels?
I was listening to two creator podcasts back to back last week. One said you should post every single day no matter what, even if the video is rough. The other said spend 3 days on one really good piece and the algorithm will push it harder. I've got about 500 subs on my channel and I've tried both ways. Posting daily got me more views on the numbers side, but the 3-day video got me 40 actual comments and 12 new subs in a week. Which side do you think wins out for folks who don't have a team or a big budget?

That "post every single day no matter what" advice feels like it's coming from people who already have an audience, you know? For you, which one actually felt less draining to keep doing, the daily grind or the 3 day stretch?

@karen361 that's a good point about burnout... I heard a bigger creator say consistency is about showing up for yourself first, not the algorithm. Three day videos felt way better for me too, even if the numbers didn't jump right away.

Did you find yourself dreading recording on the daily schedule, or was it more of a mental weight throughout the day? I'm glad you found a rhythm that works, it makes all the difference.
