How a debate with my niece over pizza toppings led me to cooking school
I'm now a chef specializing in weird pizza combinations.

Honestly, that's a great path to take. Weird pizza can be amazing if you balance flavors right. Like a pizza with roasted grapes and blue cheese, or maybe one with kimchi and spam. It sounds wrong but it just works sometimes. I admire the commitment to exploring those odd pairings. Keep pushing those topping boundaries.

At a potluck last year, I tried a pizza with peanut butter and jalapenos. Murray.jana is totally right about balancing flavors. I was skeptical but the sweet and spicy combo was INSANE. My buddy made one with pulled pork and pineapple salsa that blew my mind. It's all about not being afraid to mix things up. Now I experiment with toppings every Friday night.

You know, that Friday night experimenting habit could actually make you more open to weird combos in other parts of life too (like music or art, not just food). It's cool how playing with pizza toppings can sort of train your brain to be less picky.
