That $200 garage gym setup I never used
I spent $200 on a barbell and weights 2 years ago thinking I'd save on gym fees. It's been sitting in the corner collecting dust, and now I'm back at Planet Fitness. Anyone else buy home gym stuff that just became decoration?

That's the thing, @the_jake called it an expensive clothes hanger and honestly that's too accurate. The guilt of seeing it sit there is worse than just paying for a cheap membership. Doesn't it feel like the idea of working out at home is way more appealing than the actual reality of it?

Thinking I'd save on gym fees" ... yep that's me alright. I swear that barbell is just a really expensive paperweight now. My Planet Fitness membership is cheaper than what I spent on that unused setup anyway. Sometimes paying a little more for the convenience of just showing up is worth it.
