Update: A coffee shop chat that set me on a new path

I was feeling stuck in my regular job and always tired. A woman sitting nearby saw me sighing and told me how she started teaching art classes part-time. She said it began with just offering lessons to friends. I tried the same thing and now I feel much more excited about my days.

Same thing happened to me at the downtown library last year. This guy was looking at old band tees and told me he sells vintage shirts on the side. I started with like ten shirts from thrift stores, and last month I made enough to visit my sister in Portland. It's wild how one talk can just... shift everything.

Nah, it's not crazy at all. People share useful stuff all the time if you just listen. I got a great recipe from a guy in a grocery line once, and my mom's whole garden started from a tip at a plant sale. Most folks like to help. You just have to be open to it, you know? It's how you find the good leads.
