Why does nobody talk about how much you can lose on those 'guaranteed' crypto trading signals?

I followed a Discord group's advice for a month and lost $1,200 before realizing the 'guru' was just copying public market sentiment.

Ugh, been there. I followed some guy on Twitter who swore his system was foolproof. My wallet felt pretty foolish after that. What was the worst signal you got stuck on?

Honestly that "death cross" signal just meant my portfolio needed life support.

Remember that time I bought the top right before a massive crash because a chart looked like a "bullish megaphone" pattern? Yeah, @the_harper, I held that bag for months waiting for the second horn to toot. Felt less like a megaphone and more like a funnel where my money went straight down. I think the guy who named it just really liked band instruments. That signal cost me more than my actual student band trumpet.

Funny you mention that megaphone pattern, because here's the thing nobody talks about. Most of those named patterns were made up by guys who needed catchy names to sell books and courses. The real problem is people looking for ANY pattern that confirms what they already want to believe. Your brain sees that megaphone and thinks "oh nice, this must be the one that works" instead of asking how many times it failed before. I ran my own little test on ten years of random stock charts and those patterns were right about as often as flipping a coin. The naming is just marketing. Its a way to make gambling feel like science.
