Am I the only one who blew off my dad's 1987 advice about writing things down
My dad kept a little notebook in his truck for 30 years and I always rolled my eyes at it. Last March I started keeping one too, just for work stuff, and I've filled 4 of them since. Last week I flipped back to a note from June about a cracked fitting at a job in Fresno and it saved me a whole afternoon of guessing. Turns out he was right and I was just too stubborn to try it. Anyone else pick up something from a parent way late?
Four notebooks in under a year means your dad gets to say "told you so" for the rest of his life. Mine waited 15 years to be right about checking tire pressure, so at least yours earned it.
