Hit 100 consecutive days of flossing and honestly I didn't think I had it in me

Started because my dentist guilted me after a $180 cleaning bill, and now I feel weirdly accomplished every night like I'm some kind of dental superhero, has anyone else unlocked a random habit they never planned for?

My dentist tried that guilt trip stuff on me last year and I just stopped going. Honestly all that daily flossing feels like giving in to the whole system that makes you feel bad about normal teeth. Tbh I've never had a cavity and my breath is fine, so all that extra work seems like a waste of time. I get more done with those extra few minutes every night than I ever did worrying about my gums.

Is it weird that brushing my teeth now feels incomplete without that extra 30 seconds of flossing? I got guilted into it too after a cavity scare and now it's just part of the routine. Feels good to actually stick with something small like that.

My dentist shamed me into using a water flosser last year.
