My strongest memory is from when I was 4. It's just my dad leaving for work. That's it. No big event.

Honestly that just sounds like a normal memory. People remember random stuff from being little all the time. Maybe you're reading too much into it. It's probably not that deep, just a thing your brain held onto for no real reason.

Yeah but saying it's "just a thing your brain held onto" feels like a cop out. Some memories stick around because they meant something, even if we don't know why at first. Dismissing it as random ignores that our brains work in patterns. It might not be world changing, but it could be worth a second look instead of brushing it off. Not everything needs a deep meaning, but not everything is meaningless noise either.
