Random fact about childhood bike accidents I stumbled on

I was reading some old research papers online last night and found out that over 300,000 kids end up in the ER each year from bike crashes, which made me think about my own wipeout when I was like 8. I still remember scraping my knee on the gravel path behind my house, and now I'm super cautious whenever I see kids riding without helmets. Does anyone else have a specific injury from childhood that still makes you double-check stuff as an adult?

Worth every penny" is so true. My buddy Mike wiped out on his mountain bike and hit his head hard on a rock, no concussion or anything. He swears his MIPS helmet is the only reason he was fine after the crash.
