A client told me my blowouts were leaving her with split ends after a week
She showed me how I was using too much heat on dry hair instead of starting damp, and now I spray a leave-in first and my clients say their hair lasts 3 days longer between washes.

Wait, did she actually say that about the heat? That's rough to hear after you thought you were doing a good job, but honestly the leave-in tip is solid - I've found that one simple change makes a huge difference in how long a style actually holds up without damage.

Totally agree with you, the leave-in tip is a game changer for holding styles longer. And @marywilson is spot on about dry heat - I switched to a lightweight cream instead of a heavy spray and my styles last way better without that crunchy feel.

hugoj12 is right, it stung to hear. But clients who care enough to tell you the truth are gold. I switched to a heat protectant spray too and it changed everything. No more crispy ends, just smooth hair that lasts. A little moisture goes a long way. People don't realize dry heat zaps life out of strands.
