Bought a cheap salon chair off Facebook Marketplace and my back is paying for it now
I grabbed a used chair for $60 thinking I scored a deal. After 3 months of clients sitting in it, my lower back is killing me from the bad angle. Anyone else regret skimping on equipment?

Oh man, I feel this so much. I grabbed a used chair off Craigslist for like $50 and thought I was being smart, but after a few months my back was in knots. It was one of those old pump style ones and the cushion was basically gone, so I was leaning weird all day. I ended up having to buy a cheap lumbar support pad just to get through appointments, which felt kinda dumb.

Felt that. You pay for a "deal" with your spine eventually.

My buddy got a chair off Facebook Marketplace for 30 bucks and it had a hidden crack in the gas cylinder. Three weeks in it dropped him like a foot mid-sentence during a Zoom call. Cheap chairs are a total gamble most of the time. I will never trust a used office chair again after seeing that.

Dude yes @spencer_park26 that is exactly what happened to me too! I got a "vintage" office chair from a flea market and thought I scored big, but after a month my lower back was screaming at me every night. I ended up having to buy a cheap memory foam cushion just to sit through a full work day, totally defeats the purpose of getting a deal.
